“What do you think about banning books?” is a question asked by some voters. The question I have for them is, “Do you like porn in schools?” The myth that every book should be made available to every child in school is a fallacy. Unfortunately, there are books that have explicit and graphic material that should not be accessible to students in schools. Many cannot fathom that books like these are in schools. They are thinking that people are talking about classical or history books. No, that’s not it. The books parents who are in the know do not want are explicit books that are being made available to students. These are so explicit that they are blurred out in articles or news segments, but are somehow appropriate for children.
